Kat's room eariler in the evening
After Cassie left the room, Kat went to her closet and took out her
duffel bag. She opened it up and took out a black candle, white, green,
blue and red. Kat arranged them in the shape of a pentagram. Then she
shut off the light and closed the curtains. She took out a book of matches
and lit the white candle and said, "As this candle's light now goes, as
I say shall be so." Kat then put out the flame. She proceeded to the
green candle and lit it and said, "As this candle's light does fly, to
the one I say goodbye." She blew out the candle. Kat moved on to the blue
candle and lit it and said, "Into the darkness she will go, emerging only
if I say so." She blew out that candle and went to the red candle and lit it
and said, "and in that darkness her greatest fear, not to stop until I shed
three tears." Kat put out the flame and moved on to the black candle and
lit the last candle and said, "Cassandra, you are not but a blight. I send
you to the darkest night." She blew out the last candle satisfied knowing
that Cassie couldn't tell on her.
The Hallway
Cassie was leaving her room and heading towards the steps. She was feeling
much better, and she wanted to spend time with Nick at their spot in
the garden. Suddenly, she felt strange. Her legs started to buckle and
darkness was enclosing on her, and she fell down. That's where she
stayed until Nick found her on the floor and picked her up and took her to
her room.
Cassie's room
Rachel and Nick were concerned about Cassie because twenty minutes
had passed since Nick found her lying on the floor in the hallway
by Alex's room. "Why isn't she waking up, Rache?" Nick asked the
older woman with concern in his voice.
"I don't know, Nick. I wish that this rain and wind would let up
so we can get her to the hospital where they could run some tests
on her." Rachel said to Nick as she touched Cassie's cheek.
"She doesn't have a fever anymore. Why is she in this coma?"
Cassie's dreams
She was back in Washington D.C. living with Sentor Grant Harrison
and Victoria Harrison and her son Stephen. Cassie was dancing in the
hallway of the mansion and knocked over a grayish blue bust, and it
broke into a zillion pieces. Grant walked into the room and yelled,
"Now, look at what you did, you stupid girl. Cassandra, go to your
room and don't come out till I say so." She ran out of the room
crying and ran up the grand staircase to her femininely decorated
room where she threw herself on to her white tulled canopy bed.
Twenty minutes later, he was back in her room. "Cassandra, you broke
something that meant a lot to me and for that you must be punished.
You'll stay in here with the door locked for two weeks, and don't
expect Victoria or Bridgette to be visiting you. Your meals will be
brought up to you by Danielle. Oh and you won't be riding with my
brother either when he comes to visit next week." He told her as he left
her room. He took out the key from he black dress pants and put it in
the door and locked it.
Cassie was sleeping in her bedroom a few nights later, when Spencer
Harrison got into bed with her. He did that the whole time he was in
D.C. He also hit her for breaking the bust that he had given to his son.
