The Den
Derek and Rachel were sitting on the couch talking about Kat's
reaction about having to move into the Legacy House. "Derek, maybe this
wasn't such a good idea Kat and me moving in here. What if she starts
practicing witch craft again?"

"Rachel, Kat is a big girl now. Hopefully, she's learned her lesson
about practicing witch craft after that whole Miranda Rhodes incident."
Derek said to Rachel as he kissed her on the cheek.

"I hope your right, Derek." Rachel said flicking her blond hair
behind her ears.

The Garden
Nick was doing his martial arts by the water fountain. The fountain was
his and Cassie's place to hang out after a long day. She was always so
prompt that Nick was concerned when she didn't show up at all. "I wonder
where she is?" He thought to himself. It started to rain...little drops
at first then big drops. He went inside all soaking wet. He decided to go to
the den because he thought that Cassie might be there studying for her
finals. The den was were they all went when they wanted peace and quiet.

The Den
When he got there, he saw only Derek and Rachel sitting and talking.
"Hi, guys. I hope I'm not disturbing you, but have you guys seen Cassie?
We meet by the fountain every night...didn't show up tonight."
Nick said standing by the fireplace trying to dry his wet clothing.

"We haven't seen Cassie at all tonight, Nick. Why don't you go
upstairs and get out of those wet clothing...dripping water all over
the place." The precept said to Nick. He left the room and headed up
the stairs to get out of his wet gray tee shirt and sweatpants.

Lying in the hallway near Alex's room, was Cassie. Nick bent down
and called out, "Cassie, can you hear me?" There was no answer. He then
hollered for Rachel and then turned his attention back to Cassie.
He moved her hair off of her face and noticed that it was soaking
wet with sweat.

Rachel was still in the den. Derek had left the room had an
important phone call to take in his office. When she heard Nick holler
for her, Rachel bolted from the couch and ran up the stairs to the hallway
where she found Nick bent over Cassie.
