| The alleyway was dark and dreary. It's small space was cluttered with garbage and miscellanious items. The women smiled and walked to a hidden door on one side of the alley. She pushed away the junk and found her lock pick. The women then proceeded with opening the door. After a few tries the door went "Click.". The Woman pushed open the door slowly and walked into the darkend room. She pushed into the shadows and let her eyes adjust. It was a small kitchen,just what she wanted. The woman heard voices coming from the connecting room. Keeping to the shadows, she walked and poked her head into the room. There was a group of about a dozen children and another woman. The intruder smiled again as she rummaged into one of her pouches. She pulled out a handfull of powder and tossed it into the entryway.It exploded into a cloud of smoke. While the smoke formed into the room, the stranger jumped into it and pulled her black cape around her body so it covered her face. The children and the woman jumped back and gasped as the smoke cleared. The stranger threw down her cloak. "I'm Back!" she said quietly, grinning. The children looked confused but the womanwith them gasped in reconition. "Dak?" She asked uncertain and surprised to the strange woman. "Of Course it's me, I haven't changed ya know" The strange woman with the cloak known as Dak exclaimed. "I thought you were dead, the federation killed you, Dak." the woman stood back and said, still uncertain. "I Might of been dead once." Dak said thoughtfully. She examined her hand and flexed her fingers. She then made her hand go semi-transparent, starting at the fingertips. "YES!" a grinning young girl, who couldn't have been more than 5 yrs old, applauded. "Thank you, little one," Dak said with a warm smile across her face."Whats your name?" she questioned the young one. "i'm Audrianna," the girl said with wide eyes."Okay Audrianna, come here." Dak said. The Young girl complied and Dak bent down on one knee so she was eye level with Audrianna. She took both of the young girls hands. "Now Tell me, What the 2 things you want most?" Dak Questioned. Audrianna thought for a moment and answered " i wanna kitty cat, a pretty grey kitty cat with blue eyes." "Very good," Dak told her slightly knodding her head. "now, what else would you like?" "I wanna big dinner with lots of food for me and my friends." the young girl answered |
