The Thunder Cats are a group of protectors who insure the peace of 3rd Earth. They are the only known survivors of the once great planet, Thundara. They have been defending 3rd Earth from any evil force, under the code of Thundara,
"Truth, Honor, Justice, and Loyalty."
GOOD GUYS
Liono
Liono, The lord of the Thundercats, is the teams fearless leader. Although one of the youngest members of the team, Liono has been chosen personnely by the teams former leader, Jagga. Liono is still mentored by Jagga's spirit, which only he alone can see. Liono is also the holder of the Sword of Omens, a weapon holding the Eye of Thunara, the source of all Thundercats power.

Panthro
Panthro is the brains of the team, he also happens to be the strongest. Panthro is a mechanical genius who builds weapons, vehicles, and defense mechanisms. His pride and joy is his Thundertank, an all terran vehicle that can go anywhere and do anything. His weapon of choice is the nunchucks, that can fire energy blasts from either side.
Tigra
Tigra is the architect that built Cat's Lair the Thundercats base. He carries a bollo whip that can make him invisible for brief periods of time, as well as send a few Mutants running. Tigra is also a very agile individual who sees no task as too hard.
Cheetara
Cheetara as the power of speed. She has been known to run a mile in only 30 seconds, the only downfall is she can only maintain this speed for two minutes before she needs a rest. She is also extremely agile and can fight as well as most of the male memebrs of the team. Her weapon of coice is a staff that can change size and split apart, as well as the occasional energy blast form the tip. Cheetara is also blessed (or cursed) with the power of a 'sixth sense' that she can use to sense the presence of danger, which she has yet to master.

Wily Kat & Wily Kit
The twins Wily Kit and Wily Kat are the youngest members if the Thundercats. Seperate they lack power, but together that are as powerful as a full grown Thundercat. They are always tricking others, even if it means putting themselves in danger. They carry small capsules that can explode on contact or create illusions or smokescreens.
Snarf
Snarf comes from the planet of the snarfs, he was in charge of taking care of Liono in his youth, and still tries to teach him a thing or two to help him on his journies. Snarf is one of the oldest Thundercats, but is as resilliant as the rest (when talked into that is) and is always ready to give himself for the team.
Bengali
Bengali is a black smith that has the Hammer of Thundara. this is a weapon that that acts as a hammer that can shoot lasers out the front and has a compartment in the handle that hold black balls filled with a black smoke substance that can make the enemy not see for a while, when they are hit with his hammer. Bengali once repared the Sword of omes when it was broken.
Pumayra
Pumayra, like cheetara, is extremly fast and agile. she uses her speed to defeat her enemies and perplex them. She also has a whip that she uses as a belt until it is needed. She also has a pouch that carries several energy balls she can fling at her opponent with her whip. Pumarya is an excellent gymnist as well.
Lynxo
Lynxo is blind but he does not let that get him down. He was blinded when escaping Thundara with Bengali an Pumarya, when a large object sparked. He is the oldest of the Thunder Cats team, but since blinded, his other senses were enhanced. He has a special "Brail Board" that can tell him where things are around him. His weapon is a light sheild that can project light(and blasts) and send signals.
Snarfer
Snarfer is Snarf's nefew and just as bumbling. He normally doesnt do much on missions, but has his share of action He is, like Snarf, a cook. He usually carries on when he talks and has alot to say. he is one of the youngest members on the team. He has no weapons so, like Snarf, he uses his tail to defend himself Snarfer looks after The Tower of Omens most of the time. So hes kept Busy.
ENEMIES
Mumrah
Mumrah has lived on 3rd Earth for over 1000 years, being guarded by the mysterious
Ancient Spirits of Evil that are the source of his power. He can fire blasts, grow
teleport, and fly. He has been a enemy to the Thunder Cats since they came to 3rd Earth.
He is a constant and serious threat to The Thunder Cats.
THE MUTANTS
The Mutants are the servers of Mumrah. They come from the planet Plundar and
had escaped to 3rd Earth when Thundara exploded. They are a constant threat to
the Thunder Cats, But always fail.
Rataro
Rataro was hired by Mumrah to lead the Mutants for a short time until he was defeated by Liono. He had the "Rat's Eyes", very powerful twin daggers that had the power to shoot blasts, lift objects and destroy them. He was very bossy and only liked Vultureman because he always sucked up to him. He never really made it big on the Mutants but he sure made his mark on the Thunder Cats.
Slythe
A Lizard-Like Mutant that proclames himself leader of the mutants. He is a very bossy and hard to work with because of his attitude. He has, however gotten the Thunder Cats into many jams due to his plans. He can't, however find out how to beat them.
Jackelman
Jackelman is a Jackel-Like mutant that really doesn't do much but follow orders. He is a very accomplished fight and almost beat Liono once. He is also a Loner and wants to lead the Mutants.
Vultureman
A vulture-Like Mutant that is the brains of the Mutants. He is an inventor and has made many things to defeat the Thunder Cats, but all have failed. His work is not respected by the other mutants, so he will usually work on his plans alone.
He is not very good at fightin and usually just runs away when his plan fails.
Monkian
Monkeyan is a monkey-Like Mutant with not much brain but some strenth to make up for it He usually is a coward and doesn't fight often, but he is good at fighting, like Jackelman. He has a special sheild with a monkel face on that can spit fire. But even this can't make him, or the other Mutants beat the Thundercats.
THE LUNATTACKS
The Lunattacks are a band of evil beings from the moons of Plundar. They
were awakend by the Mutants From their rock prison to defeat the Thunder Cats.
They will stop at nothing to defeat them.
Luna
She's 2 feet tall, she has a whip, and she has a voice only a mother could love.
Why do the other lunattacks take orders from her? you would too if she was screaming
down your back(not to metion she has Amok to bodyguard her). She has had many plans
to destroy the ThunderCats in the Past, But she has always been foiled. Much to the
other Lunattacks disapproval.
Amok
Amok is Luna's Body Guard. Amok could crush rocks if he wanted to. He has great strength
and power but not brains. He normally doesn't say much but he lets his fist do the Talking
for him.
Chilla
Chilla has the power to spit Ice. she uses this to her advantage to disable the opponent
in a block of ice. She usually does all the work for the Lunattacks but doesn't get much
credit from Luna. She has came close to defeating the ThunderCats, But not Close enough.
Alluro
Aluro Has Mind Powers and the ability to control peoples thoughts. He is the Brains
of the lunattacks and has made many inventions to use against the
ThunderCats. He Thinks he would Make a good Leader of the Lunattacks,
But Luna doesn't agree.
Red Eye
Red Eye's Eye are actually sensors to see things other can't. He can find anyone
that is hiding or invisible. He also has a frisbee-like weopon that comes out
of his chest piece. He is also fairly strong.
Tug-Mug
Tug-Mug is a short, strong Lunattack that can Jump long distances. Instead
of legs he has three metal pegs that make him skoot across the ground.
He has a large Bazooka on his back that He can use on his oppenents to make them float in midair or make them heavier than a rock and stick to the ground. |
