Chance (T-Bone) Furlong

Lets just say that you really want this kat on your side. T-Bone is one very husky and formidable looking tabby. His ill-mannered short-tempered exterior hides a pretty darn nice guy...till you cross him. T-Bone is the dreamer; a leap-before-you-look daredevil who is more than capable of putting the Turbokat, as well as the rest of Razor's inventions through their paces.

As Captain of the Turbokat, T-Bone is one hell of a pilot, the best, in fact; often performing radical maneuvers that sometimes make even Razor queasy. One could easily use the old cliche that T-Bone possesses the typical "fighter pilot attitude" but there's just a lot more to him than that. He is also very sensitive, and knows how to influence people with his reckless charm and broad smile.

After all, deep inside this big kitty kat beats the heart of a helpless romantic, often guilty of thinking with his hormones instead of his brain, but don't be fooled, this bad kat is all business when it comes to protecting Megakat City. The big fella really loves his job. Flying and fighting are his passion. The more dangerous the mission, the happier he is. This bad kat specializes in chaos... T-Bone is out there; aggressive and powerful, and is the "teeth" of the Radical Squadron.

Jake (Razor) Clawson

Just try and figure this guy out. Jake is the quiet one. He's a super-nice guy, helpful and conscientious, but always plotting & scheming. A slave to logic, this absolute pragmatist is the true expert in the field and possesses incredible technical capabilities. Ever since he was a kitten, this curious kat was taking apart anything he could get his paws on to "see how it works".

A self-educated engineer, Jake's inventions proliferate the SWAT Kats's arsenal. His masterpiece, the Turbokat, is one invention that is never quite finished. Razor is in charge of making sure she is always ready for action, constantly updating her technology and the incredible firepower she carries. With Razor at the weapons panel and T-Bone in the cockpit, the Turbokat is a very deadly and formidable fighting machine.

However, they don't call him "Razor" for nothing. He is small, but don't be decieved; for he is all kat. Incredibly strong and with the agility of a panther, Razor is quite dangerous. You don't even see him coming until it's too late. The last thing many criminals ever see is Razors foot coming at them out of nowhere. And as for pointing a firearm or aiming a missile, Razor possesses prodigious accuracy. This kat rarely, if ever, misses his mark and puts the "edge" on the Radical Squadron.

It's impossible to talk about one SWAT Kat without mentioning the other. Very simply put: Chance and Jake are brothers; they are of one mind. Different though they may be, their loyalty runs deep. They get the job done, but they do it their way. They answer to no-one except each other and share a common goal: to protect the citizens of their home: Megakat City. Whether eating tuna sandwiches and fighting over the remote control, or laughing in the face of certain death, these kats are a unit. They live together; they die together; they are now, and forever, the Radical Squadron.

Callie Briggs:

Calico (Callie) Briggs is the sultry-voiced, strong-willed, right-hand woman to Mayor Manx. She is the troubleshooter who gets sent into dangerous situations so the Mayor can get firsthand information without risking his neck. She also acts as the intermediary with Feral, with whom the Mayor has a sometimes strained relationship. Though she doesnt know the true identity of the SWAT Kats, Callie has a hot line that can summon them when danger threatens. All she knows about the SWAT Kats is that these crazed daredevils have saved MegaKat City more than once. Callie is not a power grabber. She really cares about MegaKat City. If theres a front-line situation, she wants to be at that front line -- and nothing will stop her.
Mayor Manx thinks Callie makes a great deputy mayor. She does all the dirty work, sometimes even risking her life while the cowardly Manx stays safe and secure in his massive City Hall complex. She goes off to handle hot spots while Manx plays golf or stuffs his face at honorary dinners. But hes always around to bask in the glory when MegaKat City is saved from disaster by the SWAT Kats.

Commander Feral:

Commander Feral is a tough by-the-book police veteran. Hes a lean, scary, power-hungry, paramilitary type who doesnt like anyone to go around him. And SWAT Kats go around, up and over him. Feral cant stand seeing his Force look bad against these villains. Hes furious that SWAT Kats are doing his job -- even though he cant.

After the SWAT Kats have saved the day, hes not even glad the citys been saved. Hes mad that they had to be the ones to do it. Yet, angry as he is, Feral always puts his best foot forward with the media, telling them that the situation was capably handled by the MegaKat Police Force...with some minor assistance from the SWAT Kats.

Mayor Manx:

Mayor Manx is Callies boss, and the man responsible for running MegaKat City. A master politician (hes serving his 10th term), Manx is savvy enough to know that even though Feral may publicly condemn the SWAT Kats as crazy vigilantes who have terrorized innocent citizens in their pursuit of criminals, the general public seems to like these guys. Manx has seen the latest opinion polls, and like a true politician, he waffles on the issue. Regardless of his public posture, the lazy Manx is privately happy these SWAT Kats are around to save his city. Unlike Commissioner Feral, the Mayor does not hate the SWAT Kats. However, he would like to have them under his personal control.

Murray and Burke:

The two lowlifes look like they were raised on sour milk. The only time they smile (revealing bad teeth) is when they drop a load of scrap on the two kats who are even lower on the scratching post (or so they think) than they are: Chance and Jake. The twosome, who are always wearing T-shirts with rolled-up sleeves and baseball caps, relish every opportunity presented to them to let Chance and Jake know whos in control of the scrap yard.
