Not only is she the most intelligent of the senshi, but she is also the most mature. She is the one who organizes the daily study group for the five of them. She is the one who holds their attention together when their minds wander off to romance. Usagi often omits studying and reads comics instead, but Ami is always there to remind her priorities.
Her analytical mind proved useful beyond that of the classroom. During battle, she often pinpoints the weaknesses as well as the trickery of opponents. In the final battle against the Dark Kingdom, she successfully located and disabled the enemy's source of generating illusions.
"Mizu" - meaning water in Japanese reflects her calm and peaceful character well. Analysing every situation before proceeding.
