The Game
It is composed of 2 pinball tables, red and blue. In each table there are 2 different bonus games to play. The goal is to capture and evolve pokemon which then go into your pokedex. New pokemon pictures and a popup menu make this new pokedex unique from the other pokemon games.
Capturing Pokemon
By shooting the pinball (which appropriately is a pokeball!) through the right loop 3 times then into bellsprout's or cloyster's mouth the catch 'em mode will start. Once it has started shoot the ball at the shellders or voltorbs to make the pokemon sillhouette turn into a pokemon. Then finally hit the pokemon 4 times with the pokeball to capture it. (3 times to weaken it and the last to catch it).
Evolving Pokemon
If you thought capturing pokemon was hard, evolving them is even harder! Shoot your ball up through the left loop 4 times then shoot it into the cave ditto was blocking (he won't be blocking it after you shoot it through the left loop) or into slowpoke's mouth. The evolution mode will start. A menu will come up and you can choose a pokemon you'd like to evolve. You must collect 3 items that make your pokemon evolve. If it was psyduck you'd need expirience. If it was kadabra, you'd need a link cable. If it was jigglypuff you need a moon stone. You get the picture... Collect 3 of these items which appear randomly on the pinball table and a hole will appear. Shoot the ball in the hole and the pokemon will evolve!
Codes & Tricks
Save your ball code
Turn your game on. When the main screen comes up go down to options and press A. Press Down 7 times. Press A. Press Down 2 times. Press B 2 times. Go to game start and play your game. When your ball falls through the flippers press Down and A at the same time and it might save your ball. It only saves your ball SOMETIMES. If it dosen't work don't bug me, it works for me though.(ball saver must be off)
Rumble off
If for some reason you want your rumble off, press these buttons at the main game screen. Down, Down, A, A, Right, B, B. Play your game like usual.
A pointless but amusing code
At the main game screen press these buttons: Down, Down, A, A. You will see psyduck violently shaking his head, pikachu smiling and the rumble pak will start to rumble.
Tips for the beginner
Play the blue table first, it is easier.
