The Tsukino Family
The Tsukino family consists of Usagi's mother (Ikuko), father (Kenji) and irritating little brother (Shingo). Ikuko works as a housewife, and is apparently a very good cook (well, her daughter is Usagi). She is always the one to confront Usagi about her grades and tardiness to school but has always been warm and loving to her children (as well as ChibiUsa). Ikuko seems to like Mamoru and does not mind that her daughter is dating a man a few years her senior. Kenji on the other hand is very disapproving of this (he seems to freak out any time Usagi even mentions the word 'date'). Other than this, though, he seems to be a calm, caring father. I believe he works as a photographer. Shingo is the stereotypical younger brother, he teases Usagi constantly about...well, everything. When ChibiUsa appears, the two become partners in crime when it comes to annoying Usagi. However, Shingo has, on a couple of occasions, shown concern and affection towards his older sister. Ironically enough, while he thinks his sister is a real dork, Shingo completely idolozes Sailor Moon.

Osaka Naru and Gurio Umino
Naru (a.k.a. Molly) and Umino (a.k.a. Melvin) are friends and classmates of Usagi. They are quite prominent characters at the very beginning of the show, but seem to fade away as the other senshi begin to play more important parts in Usagis' life. Oh well. Naru is Usagi's best friend and the two do just about everything together, from shopping to entering talent contests together (who could ever forget the dubbed version of that episode? Nothing worse than Naru's dubbed voice singing off key. Eeewww.). Naru also seems to be a better student than Usagi. Naru's mother owns the jewelry store called the Osa-P in Juubangai (kind of like the mall). Another interesting fact about Naru is that she was the first person in the series to successfully reform a villian. It was the love between he and Naru that changed Nephrite from general of the Dark Kingdom to a nice guy (who died shortly thereafter). However, now Naru shares a nice, healthy, living relationship with the class nerd, Umino. At first, it was clear that Umino had a crush on Usagi, but eventually he developed feelings for Naru (once he became Tuxedo Umino Kamen to protect her, he threw spiced shrimp intead of roses). Umino seems to be the stereotypical, irritating, over-achieving geek with thick glasses (@_@), but he is actually a brave, caring individual who is protective of his friends.

The Furuhatas: Motoki and Unazuki
The Furuhatas are both friends of Usagi and Mamoru. Motoki (a.k.a. Andrew) went to school with Mamo-chan and works at the Crown Game Center (which is also located in Juubangai) where Usagi is often found. Usagi also used to have a massive crush on poor Motoki (who has a girlfriend who lives and works in Africa for the time being). Unazuki is Motoki's younger sister. She attends T*A Private Girl's School with Rei and works in a cafe on the second floor of the Crown Came center.

Kumada Yuuchirou and Grampa Hino
Yuuichirou (a.k.a. Chad) and Grampa Hino both live with Rei at her temple. Grampa Hino is Rei's....well, grampa (there's really no other way to say it). He is a Shinto priest and instructs his granddaughter in the ways of running the temple. He also has the *ahem* distinguished reputation of being what I call a 'dirty old man' (or hentai if you want the Japanese term). This basically means he is constanly harassing and chasing the young girls around the temple. Despite all of this, he is a loving, supportive grandfather to Rei. Yuuichirou is basically a bum who fell asleep on the temple steps and fell in love with Rei-chan when she came to shoo him away (in the N. American version, he is explained as an aspiring rock musician who came to the temple to overcome his stage fright). Now Yuuichirou lives and works at the temple as a sort of helper to Rei and her grandfather. Rei and Yuuichirou are also considered and item now and then (Rei has been known to give him a quick kiss on the cheek on a couple of occasions).

Sakurada Haruna
Sakurada Haruna (a.k.a. Patricia Haruna) was Usagi's one of Usagi's middle school teachers. She and Usagi constantly clashed over poor grades and chronic tardiness. Miss Haruna seems to be woman in her late twenties-early thirties, she goes on dates and almost always appears frustrated with her class in some way.

Princess Kakyuu
Princess Kakyuu (Princess Fireball) is the princess of the planet that the Sailor Starlights are from, she was the one they were looking for when they appeared. (Sorry, I don't know much about her. When I find out more, I'll rewrite this thing).
