| Haruka is a strong, athletic girl with a rather 'boyish' appearence and attitude. In fact, when the other girls first met Haruka, they actually thought she was a boy(Minako is known for saying:"This person is the ideal man." ^_^). Of course the fact she prefers to wear the mens' school uniform doesn't help the confusion....Haruka attends Mugen Gakuen High School in Tokyo, and likes playing the piano. She also runs for the track team, and loves racing her sports car. Once, Haruka's dream was to become a race car driver, however, that changed when she discovered her other calling in life. Michiru introduced Haruka to her destiny as Sailor Uranus, one of the Sailor soldiers. As a Sailor, Haruka takes her duties very seriously, willing to sacrifice everything to reach her goal-- including her life and the life of her partner Sailor Neptune. During their assignment to locate the Three Talismans, Sailor Uranus and Neptune find themselves conflicting with the other Sailor senshi (for more about Uranus and Neptune's mission, go here.) Of course, once this goal is achieved, Sailor Uranus fights alongside the other Sailors. When in Sailor form, Haruka has power over the earth. Sailor Uranus eventually undergoes a transformation, and as Super Sailor Uranus, her attacks are more devastating. Out of all of the other Sailor senshi, Haruka has the closest relationship with Michiru, who also acts as her partner, Sailor Neptune. Powers/Transformations Uranus Planet Power Make Up Haruka uses this phrase, along with her transformation stick, to transform into the senshi of the sky, Sailor Uranus. World Shaking This is Sailor Uranus' standard attack. She raises her hand, creates a glowing, yellow ball of energy, and then slams it into the ground, creating a massive earthquake. Space Sword Blaster In this attack, Sailor Uranus uses her talisman, the Space Sword, to cut through anything she wishes. Items Transformation Stick A magical stick that allows Haruka to transform, after saying the magic words. I'm picking up on a magical theme in this series......
