| Seiya is an outgoing and passionate individual. He is the lead singer of the popular music group the Three Lights and is part of the American-style football team at Juuban High School in Tokyo. Because he is a celebrity, Seiya often works with his two brothers (who are the other members of their group) on things like concerts, photo shoots, musicals and advertising. Almost as soon as he moves to Japan, he meets Usagi who seems completely unaware of his celebrity status (though the other girls are quite infatuated with the Three Lights). Seiya quickly becomes smitten with Usagi and seems to persue her endlessly, though he does have another reason for being in Japan. Seiya is actually a sailor soldier from another galaxy in search of help from a princess to stop another villain's impending attack. Here's the intersesting part, once Seiya transforms he becomes a female senshi. Yup, while Seiya is a guy, Sailor Star Fighter is a girl. As Sailor Star Fighter, Seiya has a laser based attack. At first the Sailor Starlights are mysterious to the other soldiers at best. They clash almost immediately with the outer senshi, Sailor Star Fighter and Sailor Uranus seem to have a special rivalry. This is reflected in their normal lives as Seiya and Haruka (I believe Seiya called himself a 'dark reflection' of Haruka). Eventually, the senshi become allies against their enemy and even friends after her defeat. Items Transformation Stick/Earpiece Seiya uses these items along with his magical transformation phrase to, well, transform into Sailor Star Fighter. |
