| Rei is a girl who lives at the Hikawa Jinja Temple(Cherry Hill Temple) with her grandfather and a free-loader named Yuuchirou(Chad). She is in training to become a Shinto priestess and dreams of being a wife, Shinto priestess and famous singer. Unlike many of her friends, she attends T*A Private Girls' School, however, this doesn't stop her from meeting up with Usagi and her cat Luna, who introduce Rei to her incredible past: Rei learns that she is actually Sailor Mars, the soldier of that planet, sworn to protect the Moon Princess. As Sailor Mars, Rei controls the element of fire. Eventually, she tranforms into Super Sailor Mars, and gains more powerful attacks. Rei is a spirited girl who stands by her beliefs and friends. Despite her and Usagi's constant arguing, the two are like sisters beneath. (Just thought I'd use the full title, sorry...). Also, some variations..: Mars Star Power Make Up (Mars Star Power) and... Mars Crystal Power Make Up(Super Sailor Mars) Fire Soul(Mars Fire Ignite) With this command Mars shoots forth a fire ball or stream of fire from her fingers. Fire Soul Bird(Mars Firebird Strike) When Sailor Mars says this she calls upon a phoenix to strike enemies down. Burning Mandala(Mars Celestial Fire Surround) This attack involves several japanese symbols(basically, a mandala) surrounding Mars in a circle, then she can throw rings made of fire at opponents.(I think that makes sense...) Mars Flame Sniper In this attack, Super Sailor Mars creates a bow and arrow out of flames, then can shoot the arrow at the intended target. Items Transformation Stick Well...it sort of decribes itself, but... it's what Rei uses to become Sailor Mars. Ofuda(Anti-Evil Scroll) "Rin, pyou, tou, sha, kai, jin, retsu, sai, zen! Akuryou taisan!" Rei says this spell to bless an ofuda or a tiny scroll of paper she carries with her.This is a talent Rei learned from being a priestess, not from being a Sailor senshi, therefore, it can be used wheter or not she is transformed. It stuns, or even paralyzes monsters or people that have been possesed. |
