08/09/04 UPDATE
Just thought you should all know (and if you don't already, you should be ashamed) there is a new realistic Zelda coming out for the GameCube! It'll be out by December or November, but it already looks really awesome. I can't wait.
10/24/00 UPDATE (on Majora's Mask)
I went to the store on 10/24/00 and picked up my copy of MM gold version and then I went home and started playing! The players guide showed me most everything (but not everything)!
Their are 24 masks. 4 transform you into a goron, deku shrub, zora, and a wierd redead type Link (called diety Link)! The other 20 masks are just normal masks you put on your face not to mension their special powers (for instance the bunny hood makes you 1.5 times faster) 3 masks were cut out from the last game one was the gerudo mask (which I think would make more since using it than the stone mask).
Your in a new world called Tarmina with most of the same charactors with different names, occupations, and clothes (some of them). New landmarks except one Death Mountain (wierd).
A new town, Clock Town that actually seem like a real town. The major landmark their in the town is Clock Tower. You have three days to save the world from certain doom when the moon catabults itself into the land (you can go back in time with the song of time, a new outcome) you can also slow down time and speed it up with 2 certain (possibly secret) songs that don't appear on the start menu. 4 temples and you can go at with five bosses! everytime yo go back in time though everything yo did on the previous days is erased exept your main items you have.
Their quite a few of the old weapons including: Deku Nuts, Deku Sticks, Ocarina, Bow and arrow (a new look), hookshot (also a new look, sorry no longshot), bombs, bombchus, and magic beans all good considering they're all usable as a kid (since your a child through the whole game). Also some new weapons including event items, and these big barrels that explode (only usable as a goron).
This will be the last Zelda game on the N64 so enjoy it while it lasts. |
