| Roses
by Ruth Field |
The dew-sweet roses fill the dark with
Loves romantic dreams.
And young hearts slept through fragrant night,
Joy bursting at their seams.
I held a rose to faded cheek
Remembering summertime,
And all the joys hover near
Still touched by the sublime.

| Inspirational You ...By Kate Gibson |
Your lips inspire sonnets
Your eyes inspire the spark
That starts the little flame
That lights my candle in the dark.
Your kiss inspires lovesongs.
I feel your loving touch
That inspires all the dreams
That keep me missing you so much.
Your tears inspire April showers
Which in turn inspire the flowers
that brighten up ones day.
Your inspiration yesterday
Brought me here today
Just to say "I love you"
In every possible way.

All calm and lovely,
No knowledge of right or wrong,
Garden of Eden.

| Gramma's Rosebud Tree ...By Kate Gibson |
It's morningtime for Gramma and me.
We look outside at the budding tree.
We gaze out the window on the bedroom wall
before the spring and after the fall.
The morning dew hard on the green
And yellow like an icy sheen.
Waiting for it's glass to warm and flow
To feed the full bloomed down below.
We anxiously wait for spring to arrive.
By that time I'll be no longer five.
All grown up she's here with me
To help me remember our rosebud tree.
