| Greetings, My name is Angel Nuyen. Some of you will know who I am, for others this will be the first time you have heard my name. On June 20,1999 I was given the opportunity to attend a model search in the Cleveland area. After being interviewed, and walking the runway I was one out of six that had qualified. My overall score was a B plus. I come from a family that is living below the poverty line. My Mother and Father have done a wonderful job of raising my two sisters and one brother and myself. I love them dearly and understand that there are other obligations that my parents must meet and that are very important to the family's survival. Currently my Father is unable to work, as an assault on him left his wrist broken. So the income that is supporting us has been cut severely. My dream of becoming an model/actress is at my fingertips. I have a chance to attend the Barbizon School of Modeling, to be listed with their agency, and find work through them while attending their school. The work would bring in money that would help continue my education and help my family. The only thing holding me back is the tutition money, which is $1,500 total. That covers the all materials, handbooks, make-up, two photoshoots and props. With some of the tutiton paid I am assured a space in the class and the right to go out and do jobs for the agency. Jobs pay well, but you must be a student of the school to be placed in a job. It has all ways been my dream to become a model/actress.
