Sorry for such a long absence. I am in the process of trying to find a new job as well as I have been sick for the last week with the flu.
Well things with the house began to take a major turn on Wednesday of last week. We got our footers poured and then on the 4th of this month the guys came and laid the block. We have a foundation now. It was so exciting even over all the sickness just to see the blocks laid.
On a special note: Everyone go out and check out Typer perrry's Medea's Family Reunion!
I got to go sat with my mom and we had a blast it is so heart warming with a "large" round of fun! Good christian fun! To check out more on Typer Perry got to www.tylerperry.com . Till next time.

Wow what a fantastic weekend. Jason and I took a long awaited trip to lowes and home depot and loaded down our very small focus and I mean loaded down. We were very bless to not only buy a lot of stuff with very little money but we were also very blessed to be able to load 21 boxes of laminating flooring, kitchen sink, 2 large light fixtures 2 sink faucets in to our very small car and still have room to sit. It wasn't easy but it can be done!
We later went back and got our toliet and a couple of extra boxes of flooring to be on the safe side.
I think that since we still haven't really started on any major frame work that it doesn't seem real but its so exciting.
Well I hope everyone had had a wonderful weekend and stayed warm!!

Well it has taken me a while to get to post and update everyone all the "big" news that has happened in the last couple of weeks. Last Wednesday the 8 we got our light pole, we also in the mean time gotten our footers dug but due to the horrible weather we are still waiting for them to be poured. We have been doing some changes to the layout of our house and I will be so glad when everything is completly done. I am very ready for the weather to clear up that that we can really get in and get a good start on this building project.
I have to admit I did enjoy getting enough snow to go sledding on even if it has slowed down our house, it also slowed us down and gave us a very much needed weekend of rest! Well to all I do hope you stay warm and have a fantastic week!
Love and prayers

Wow its been a while since I was last here. It seems like this year has gotten off to a very rough start. I had to have some teeth removed and so I have been in a lot of pain the last couple of days. I got to have at least two days off to rest. My mom came over to help me do some house work on Tues. We ended up playing monopoly and having a day like we did when I was a child. It was nice to have ole mom around.
I hope all of you are doing well. Say a little prayer for me that the pain may leave my gums and jaw very soon. God bless you all.

Sorry for not writing in a couple of days, well several days. Work has been pretty crazy and I am searching for a new job and taking some classes. SO I gues you could say right now my schedule leaves little time. But you my VISITORS to my site are very important. So here I am to let you know all that is going on around my world.
It was some major snowing here yeasterday morning, we got maybe and inch but the wind made the storm more dangerous. The weather is much nicer and most of the snow is already gone. It seems so weird to see snow melt so fast this time of year, its more like a March snow. I am trying to work on some new material to post to the website I have a couple of poems in the works and hope to have them completed soon.
Once again thanks for stopping by!
Lov ya all

Well this year is really not going as I had hoped. My car is now on the downhill slide, I will probably have to get a new clutch. I feel like we are never going to get started on the house. I have no patience by the way. Its the one thing God forgot to give me before he created me HAHA.
I feel like my life has become way to routine. I need some major change.I am really trying to seek the Lord on what paths to take. I really want a new job and I need some peace concerning a very special matter. I ask each of you reading this to please pray for me.
God bless you all!!

This week or next we should have our footer dug. I can't wait to start packing! Its been very hetic where I work, (a college university) the students have came back for the spring semester and it has been crazy! For the next few weeks I may not get to update the pages as much as I would like since I do most of my work while here at work so know that I appriciate your continual support.

WaaaaaaHOOOOOO! Its FRIDAY!!
A few light flurries have been in the air this morning. It is very cold and I am dreaming of being snuggled down under my covers asleep. The weather will delay our house I am sure. The guy won't get to come this week to pin-point where our footers should be.
Well I just want to wish everyone a very happy weekend and get out and do something fun!

Well after battling a very long painful headache, I am back to work this morning and thanking the Lord for a new day with him.
I was listening on my way to work a tape of a previous message from our church. The title of the sermon was "God of the mountain, is God of the Valley". Now I know that is not a orginal statement but it is so very true. No matter where we are at in our life if we will let God do his work and will He is God of our life no matter where we find ourselves. It is so easy to praise him when we are on top of the mountain, but when we are in the valley and we can praise him thats when he will bring us to the mountain top. No matter where you are today, look to the Lord.
Part Two
Ok so I am posting again for today....I couldn't stop thinking. I just finished the book "The Five People You Meet In Heaven". Ok so it wasn't bibically correct but the point of the book I think is to really make you think about how you live your life. No matter who you meet or don't meet in someway you are affecting millions of people even some you may never. Just by giving to someone you may affect them to do the same which will affect another life that without your initial giving would not have been affected. Its wild to think about it really is.
God Bless,

I am only halfway through this week and I am already about to fall over. Went in for some test yeasterday and everything was clear so PRAISE GOD!! No new news on the house, maybe in the next couple of weeks.
I have finally gotten everything put away from christmas. My house still needs a good cleaning. How can so little of stuff cause such a huge mess?
It is 2:30 and I will soon get to travel the almost 50 min drive home, on the never ending road. Put I thank the Lord for my job. I don't make a whole lot and it isn't a life saving job or life changing for that matter, but I am able to get the things that I need and have quite a bit to put back at the end of every month. So thank you Lord for my job.
Remember today what you should be thankful for.

Well it will be May befor I get used to writing 06. I hope that everyone had a very splendid new years. Its hard to believe that 2006 is actually here. To me time seems to be flying by.
The last couple of days have been pretty nasty here. We had a hugh storm last night and a couple of mudslides near home. I am guessing that the rain will cause delay in the footer work of our house. I really dislike this time of year. The world seems so dead. I like a lot of color around me. I want to see my flowers growing. I long to be in the sun.
Well I am off for the day, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!!
A new year for the Lord,

Ok so here is day two of my blog.
So I guess you are wondering why the penguin? Well you know I have high respect for penguins. The are much more moral then most people I know. First some types actually give the girl a stone as a symbol of "engagement", then penguins mate for life. How many people do you know can be loyal just in a courtship? Ok so enough on my soap box of love.
Two more days of 2005 is left. How are you going to end the new year. Have you make your resolutuions? Well the only one I have made is that I am going to worry less and praise more, I think that a long will take care of anything else.
Well it is raining here so today will be a very drab day, but I am going to make the best of it because the Lord allow me to wake up and live another day. Well thats it for today...God Bless

Well I have never did a blog before. I am not sure how interesting this will be for most but I will try to add some excitment and humor along with maybe even some tears as we go along. Today I will just kinda update on what is going on so far.
My husband and I are in the works of building a house. After a lot of debate we decided on a very simple ranch style home which we actally designed ourselves. We have the ground work done and are hoping that with in the next two weeks we will have our footers finished. We want to be in the house by our anniversary in June.
Well it is almost 8 O'clock, I am sitting at work waiting to open the doors to the office. I work at a university in the registrar's office. Not the most exciting job, but it helps to save money for the house.
I have to tell you about the newest thing I am addicted to: Tyler Perry. What never heard of him.(http://www.tylerperry.com) He wrote, directed and acted in the movie "Diary of a Mad Black Woman". Too funny for words. He also does a lot of stage plays which you just can't help from rolling on the floor. I laugh till my belly actually hurts! His new movie "Medea's Family Reunion" comes out in Feburary and I can't wait. Every play or shows has a moral at the very end. Watch them you will love the too!
Well I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I didn't but thats another story. I am very thankful for all the wonderful gifts that was given to me, don't get me wrong that had nothing to do with it. I spent much of my time off laying on the couch. I had the stomach flu and then ended up with a very nasty cold. Needless to say I don't remember to much about Christmas Day.
Well thats all I have to say for now. More later....
Christ love
