Pokemon Intro
(What are Pokemon?)
Pokemon or (pocket monsters) are creatures that are either very similar or relate to real animals. They take place in earth. Preferrably Japan. When a person becomes ten years old, they are old enough to qualify as a pokemon trainer. Trainers must catch pokemon in pokeballs. Then they are allowed to call that pokemon their own. Pokeballs are red and white spheres that change in size when you press a button. This is where you keep your pokemon. Trainers teach their pokemon new attacks and techniques. They use thier pokemon in pokemon battles. A pokemon battle is a match between two trainers and their pokemon. They use their attacks to go against each other until a pokemon faints. After that the trainer whose pokemon fainted can choose ether to forfeit or keep battling. A trainer keeps battling until all of their pokemon faint or until they forfeit. After that they may take their pokemon to a pokemon center to take them back to consciousness. Pokemon centers are scattered through out the Pokemon world. And in big cities. A trainer may go battling at official gyms at major cities to get badges. After they gain 8 badges they may go to the Pokemon League. A big Trainer Showdown at various places in the world. If you beat all the trainers you must battle the ELITE 4. Then you will have the right to be called a pokemon master.
Pokemon Master! This is a goal that shines brightly for many, but none more so the Ash Ketchum. 
The pride of Pallet town began his journey on his tenth Birthday. Then he met a pokemon that he would spark a life long friend ship with. Pikachu!!! 
Brock:
Brock Rocks!! As leader of the Pewter city Gym, he's tough to beat. Brock spent years runnng the gym and taking care of his ten younger brothers and sisters while his father was traveling far and wide as a pokemon trainer. Now it's brocks turn. Brock's dad, Flint, is back, and Brock has joined fellow trainers Ash and Misty on their journey to become great pokemon trainers. He uses the experience he gained raising his siblings to raise pokemon. He doesn't really want to become a great trainer. He rather would like to be a great breeder. Just because he trains rock pokemon doesn't mean his heart is rock slid. He has a weakness for cute girls. Especially Nurse Joy, and officer Jenny.
Misty:
Misty is a bomb!!!! She can be nice and knid like in the picture above, but in no time at all she can explode!!!! She came from a family of gym leaders. She is the youngest of 4 sisters, Violet, Lily, and Daisy.The "Sensational Sisters" are the three gym leaders of the Cerulean City gym. They all like water pokemon. Misty says she is tired of handy-downs. So she left to become a Pokemon trainer. Now she is traveling with Misty and Brock. She followed them because she claims Ash owes her for her bike. |
