| This begins my mothers side of the family. It is not known when they came to America. Edith Marie Wood (my mother) b: April 6, 1913 in Ethel, Missouri, USA m: Albert Rineholt Sirsch on August 5, 1937 in Riverside California, USA John Webster Wood (my grandfather) b: 1874 in Laclede, Missouri, USA m: Naomi Herring in 1896 in Missouri, USA d: 1949 in San Bernardino, California, USA at age 75, est. Seven children: Edna Chloe, Nobel, Norma Rachel, Hazel Frances born in 1901, Edith Marie born in 1913, Norman Earl born in 1918 and Mary Berdean born in 1921. James Wood (my g grand father) b: May 23, 1829 in London England m: unknown date and year, but married Elizabeth Clayton d: January 31, 1912 in Linneus, Missouri, USA at age 82. Five children; James, Charles, Wilber, Sarah, John Webster born in 1874 William Wood (my gg grandfather) One known child: James born in 1829 |
