I started writing my novel in May of 1998 and in July of 2000 I finished with the storyline (finally!). Now all I have to work on is extra stuff like maps, floor plans, and character profiles. The story is based partly on a dream my friend Rejeana had after she read "Salem's Lot". In her dream, a few stundents from Herrin High School were vampires and a few others were "vampire hunters". She told me I should write about it since I like vampires and said I could add any details I wanted to. When I first started writing, I thought it would be about 20 pages long since I had never written a story over 19 pages before. I'm currently on page 306 and I'm almost done. There are 33 characters in the story and most of them are based on people I know from school. Most of them know I'm using their names and descriptions and for those who don't know (who were mostly people from Rejeana's original dream) I changed some details so that no one will be able to tell who I based the character on. Here are a few of the main characters: Abbie, Kristen, Nancy, Brian (a.k.a. Pimp-Daddy Fangs), Evan, Jonathon, Erin, Mary, Rejeana, and Allison (yes I'm in my own novel). Several of the characters end up either turning into vampires or being killed by the vampires, but that doesn't mean I hate them or anything. I've never read a book about vampires or seen a movie about vampires where no one dies (it just doesn't work that way).

If you're interested in an autographed, un-edited copy of "Love Bite", it's gonna cost ya $10 'cause paper, ink, page protectors, and binders are not cheap...I'm still losing money on the ten buck deal, so don't think I'm being greedy...just let me know so i can make you a copy...it'll a be awhile b4 i get them done, but if i ever get it published, and hit #1 best-seller it'll be worth the wait :o)

I know the page is "About My Novel", not "About My Novels", but I thought I'd tell you a little about the other books too... The second book in my series is currently being called "The Nightlife of TwinHills" (that might change though). It's on my site as "Love Bite" sequel, so some of you have already read it (or at least what I have done). The story takes place about one year after the first book, "Love Bite", ends. Since it's on my site, I'm gonna let you read it instead of telling you a lot about it...contact me for the passwords if you don't already have them. The third book in the series (which isn't on my site yet) is "The Diaries of the Immortal". You'll have to wait to find out whose journal it is. I'll tell you this much though, it is a character from a previous book (it might be more than one character...haven't decided yet). It's actually a prequel. The first entry in the book is in the 1960's (for those of you who know the stories, you should be able to narrow down whose journal it is just with that date).
