*6/4/99 Cromwell
I was driving east looking towards the rising sun at 5:30 AM. There was a huge brilliant
white object hovering in the sky. I normally turn of on a ramp that brings me to Route 9
and north to Hartford, but I drove straight towards the
object and the center of Cromwell. At first I was sure it was the morning star, but
I knew the object was too large and bright for a star. I observed it for a few minutes
more and became bored. So I decided to leave, when the object suddenly shot straight
up and was gone. I was wondering if anyone else saw it? This is the third time I have
seen a craft like this in the Middlesex, County area. Thanks to Dean Burgess djburgess@snet.net.

Skywatch International reports that on June 2, 1999, a large dark gray triangle
was observed at 9:53pm. A friend saw an object from his house 2 - 3 miles away.
The witness reports, "I was on the phone and saw a large gray triangle object
appear below cloud cover. When it first appeared the UFO displayed two large white
lights, that went dark and were replaced by three red lights on its edges. One of
the red lights had a flutter to it. The object the size of a 747 aircraft. The rear
of the triangle had one half a circle area cut out of it. It moved from the northeast,
and made an abrupt turn to the East without making any noise. The object followed the
power lines in area for almost four minutes. While the object was visible the family
dog was agitated and barking. The
weather was partly cloudy. The object appeared solid and was as bright as a star.
Thanks to Skywatch International Inc.

*Connect.Meriden
A triangular shaped has been reported recently between Meriden and
Middletown, Connecticut. A 39-year-old man was driving east on Route 147 at 9 PM when he spotted the unusual object hovering over the Mount Higby Reservoir. The
Mount Higby reservoir is approximately four miles west of Middletown, a small city about 17 mites (27 kilometers) south of Hartford, the state capital. The
witness saw the silent object hovering over the water and observed its
reflection in the water. There were three lights in triangular formation,
which were very bright. The witness said the lights on the object were
slightly bluish-white, closer to florescent light than halogen. Similar
shaped. The UFO sas about 50 feet above the reservoir, and was approximately 100 feet (30 meters) across.

CAUS thanks Robert A. DeFranco (padronedSiconn.net) for this report:
I thought I'd run this by you. I had an IFO sighting about 3 years ago
right here in Greenwich, CT. it was an early evening in late summer of
1995. I looked up into the still sun lit sky and noticed an
aircraft moving at what appeared to be high speed, flying quite high.
lt had a conventional fuselage but beneath it there was this large
OCTAGONAL "wing" configuration, which was a cocoa brown color. This
"wing" appeared to be a single unit. This apparatus was clearly the
"wings" of this craft. The fuselage itself had a highly polished
surface (as if chrome plated) and showed very bright sun glint.
interestingly, the nose and tail sections of this craft were totally
obscured by very blinding sun glint. So much so that I was unable to
detect if it even had a nose or tail sections!
