Becareful, cheats can be dangerous!!!

Pokemon Copy:
One player gets the pokemon to be duplicated while the other gets a pokemon to be copied over. Trade the pokemon and the player receiving the bad one, turns his game off right after Waiting disappears after the trade. (You shouldnt do this. I did and my game erased)

Item duplication:
Do the Missingno. cheat and put the item to be duplicated in the 6th position from the top. After battle it will have a wierd character followed by a number that means you have around 150 of them, but you can only duplicate it if there is 99 or less. Rare candies, pp ups, tms and nuggets are all good uses for this code.

Invisible Computer:
In Celadon City, go down to the house in the right hand corner. Inside there should be a hotel with a few people walking around. Go inside the hotel. Go all the way to right side of the hotel, go all the way down, and go one spot up, and hit A. If nothing happens, go up one more and hit A. Just watch out, because you could unknowingly walk right through the computer.

Water on Cycling Road:
This one's hard to explain, but here goes. First, go on Cycling Road from Celadon City. Go straight left, then go down the hill. Go back up for about a second, and this should happen:That's right, the trees turned into water! And if you go back up just a tiny bit, then go down, some of the water will become trees again!

Through the statue at Elite Four:
When you go into the first room of the Elite Four, Lorelei's, notice there's a statue there to your left. Face that statue by facing left, and use SURF. You should go right into the statue! Go left to go into the water, right to get back on land, and up and down to go nowhere. Not useful like the rest, but strange to watch.

Start a game inside a BUSH:
First CUT a bush down. Stand where the bush used to be and save. Turn the game off and on. When you restart, you're inside a bush.

Continuous bike music:
Get on your bike. Go down a hole that you can push boulders in. When you land, you will no longer be on your bike, but the bike music will be playing!

Go to the cyclying road without your bike:
Go to the building where you'll have to get through to go to the bike route and hold (left) and keep on pressing (B). The guard will talk to you but don't quit keep on do the steps!

Master Ball trick

When you throw a Great Ball hold UP and B just as it opens and it will act as a Master Ball.

Celadon slot machine tip

All of the slot machines have different odds which change every time Play each machine 4 times, and if you win on that one two or more times stick to that one.

Catch Safari Pokemon elsewhere

Go into the Safari Zone and walk to the patch of grass where the Pokemon you want is. Walk around to let the time run out and then FLY to Cinnabar Island. Surf up and down the west side of the island(Half on land, Half on water). You'll start to battle the Pokemon from the patch of grass that you were standing in.

Fish in statues

To fish in the statues walk up to the statue so that your character is standing directly in fron of it and use one of the three rods. I would suggest the Super Rod because the old rod only catches Magickarps.

Catch Ditto easily

To make it a little bit easier to catch Ditto put a Magickarp or other weak Pokemon at the top of your list. Ditto will change into Magickarp and thus making him easier to catch.

Hidden Items
Here are some fairly good items found with the ItemFinder

*Full Restore on Victory Road near the exit
*PP Up on Route 17 on right side of cycling road
*PP Up on Route 13
*Max Ether on island while traveling to Victory Rd.
*Nugget on Route 7 underground path
*Full Restore and X Special on Route 5 underground path
*Ether in Unknown Dungeon 1st floor
*Rare candy in Cerulean City in the top lefthand corner nearest the Unknown Dungeon (Not sure about that one)
*Greatball on the right plateu when you come out of Mt.Moon

99 of any item

Talk to the man in Viridian City who teaches you how to catch a Weedle and relpy 'No' when he asks if you're in a hurry. Then place the item you want to be duplicated as the sixth item from the top. To switch items press select while the arrow is pointing to them and then bring the arrow to the spot where you want the item and press select again. The items will switch places. Now FLY to Cinnabar Island and SURF along the East coast You'll soon come in contact with a Pokemon referred to as M. Defeat him or run away but DO NOT capture him. Once you have defeated him or run away you'll have at least 99 of the 6th item on your list.

Fight Level 100+ Pokemon

Perform the 99 Items code above, then after battling M, keep surfing and you'll start encountering Pokemon that are level 135 and above. It is possible to capture them. Some copies of the game can do this better than others, and if you use the Pokemon in a battle other than a two player battle it will turn back into a Lvl. 100 Pokemon. Though, battling these Pokemon is a good way to earn up to 3000 Exp. points! (Dont capture them. They are another form of the virus!!)

Get HM01 from the Captain then battle any trainer on the ship and perposly lose. You will be sent to the last Pokemon Center you went to without the ship leaving.

Green Pikachu

To get a green Pikachu you'll need a GameBoy color. catch a Pikachu in the Viridian Forest or the Power Plant and rename him Pikachan. (This is not true, I tried it).

[Item Duplication] easy to do if you follow directions!
on both versions

1st:make sure to have a pokemon that can fly and one to surf
2nd:talk to the man(in the top left edge of town) in Viridian city,
answer "no" to his question.
3rd:when he's finished talking press "start" go to "items" put any item
you want 199 of in the 6th spot.
4th:fly to cinnabaur island
5th:go dirrectly to the east shore and use surf
6th:go up and down dirrectly on the cost, you'll eventually fight a
missingno or another unnumbered pokemon
7th:RUN from the first one you see, check your 6th item, there should
be a strange symbol and a 9 by it
8th:congrats.! you just got alot of items! i.e. hp up, pp up,
masterball, whatever you want (excluding special items like bicycle)

How to get the 3 original pokemon from Prof. Oak

You will need:
2 gameboy
2 game pack
1 cable link

OK, first, player 1 go get a bulbasaur from Prof. Oak
Player 2 go get a Squirtle from Prof. Oak
2 of you have to get the Pokedex
Player 1, catch 2 pokemon (Either Pigey or Ratata)
2 of you go to the nearest Pokemon Center
Player 2 trade Squirtle for a Pigey or a Ratata with Player 1
Reset the game.
Player 2, sorry but you have to start the game over
Go get a Charmander from Prof Oak
Get the Pokedex
Go trade Player 1 the Charmander for the Pigey or a Ratata
Now, Congratulation Player 1, you have 3 original Pokemon
Player 2, I'm sorry but you can ask another person who just bought a
new game, tell them to do that. Then you will have 3 original pokemon

[Missingno!]

FLY to Cinnabar Island. Go into the Pokemon Research Lab, (The place where
they ressurect Pokemon fossils,) and trade with one of the people in there.
Then go to rightmost part of the island, and start SURFing up and down the
coast line so that it looks like your Pokemon is on half land, half water.
Keep going up and down until you encounter a wild Pokemon. The screen will
freeze black for about 5 to 10 seconds. Then you will be fighting a
scrambled square shaped thingy, that is Missingno. Do not, repeat do not
send out your strongest Pokemon to catch it! You will most likely make it
faint in one hit because it's defense totally stinks. Send out you weakest
Pokemon and use a medium powerful attack. After catching him, save the game
and turn it off. Turn it back on and then you can use him! You follow the
directions exactly otherwise you won't catch him.

[Masterball Secret]

Throw any kind of Pokeball (Greatball, Ultraball, or Pokeball),
and after it is released from your hand, hold UP + B.
The ball will act like a Masterball! I caught Articuno, Moltres,
Zapdos, and Snolax with this handy trick. It works, but takes a bit of
practice to get right. The trick works on both versions.

[Safari Pokemon at SEAFOAM ISLANDS 2]

OK.This is for both versions:

1. Go to Safari Zone and then recive 30 safari balls.
2. Right when you enter the safari zone, leave.
3. The guy should say leaving early. Say yes.
4. Then after you leave safari zone go to the seafoam island. But dont go on
the land.
5. Stay along the cost and just go up and down while still on your water
pokemon that you ride on.
6. You should run into wild pokemon from safari zone.
7. And the good thing is you can use your own pokemon and Pokeballs( pokeball,
greatball, ultraball) to caputre safari zone pokemon!!

[extension on the safari pokemon]

(This is kind of an extension on the safari pokemon at seafoam islands
trick.)

Go anywhere with unique pokemon (pokemon tower, MewTwo cave, victory road
cave) and then leave. Fly to cinnabar island and surf up and down on the
coast where it looks like you are half on land and half on water. After a
few seconds the unique pokemon will start appearing. This isn't real
useful, but its fun!

Fish in statues:

1.In the Misty's gym, face the statue and use Old Rod or any other ROD
2.And you should be able to fish.

After you get the Card Key in Silph Co., go through the warp and come right back. Go straight upwards and pass the first door you see. When you come to the second door, enter through the part of it that is closest to the bottom of the screen. While it says "Bingo! The card key opened the door!", an item ball will appear on the wall above you. As you enter, it will disappear.

[Stand on an item ball]

First find someone who drops an item ball. Let's use Giovanni in Rocket Gaming Corner basement as an example. Stand where he drops his item ball (to his back) and talk to him. Then battle him as usual. When you have beaten him, he will disappear, and you will be standing on the item ball.

[Stand on top of a tree.]

1.Cut down the tree that you can cut by using cut.
2.Stand on the spot where the tree was and go to menu and save.
3.turn the game off and put it on again and continue.
4.And when you start the game, you should be on top of a tree.

On route 6, just north of Vermilion city, go up till the left row of posts are across the top of the screen. Hit start, there should be a man on the post, try on both the left and right, it may take a few trys before you get it.

If you go to the tollboth out of Celadon to bike road, without a bike, and go TOTALLY STRAIGHT you will see a person going through the wall

With the weird secret on how to make that guy appear in the wall near
cycling road first go upstairs than do the trick and instead of the man
appearing on the wall he appears in the middle of the floor!

[DIG and SURF]

Not really a secret but fun! All you need is DIG and SURF. You can dig while
your in water!

[Bike music without riding a bike]

1.when you are in the caves on the seafoam islands, ride your bike and you will hear the bike music.
2.Now fall down a hole while still on the bike.
3.you will be of your bike but you will still hear the bike music! It stops if you press start

[Fish through people's heads]

I found a code similar to fishing in statue code
after ya deafeet misty go to the swimmer who is swimming ,and use the fishing rod(any kind)
The rod will go through his head!!!!!!!!

[old man on a roof]

Go to seafoam island. makesure you have a pokemon with SURF equiped. also make sure you don't have the secret key to the gym. now swim. go to the up to the gym. go left to get on land and go to the door. you should get the DOOR LOCKED message, but you will also see a man on the roof
works on both versions

[Person standing on top of half land and water.]

1.Go to the Northern part of Cerulean City.(where there are bridge, but don't go in route24 yet.)
2.Go to left side of the bridge and walk forward to route24.
3.When you see a land on the top left, press start fast as you can.
4.And there should be person standing on the half land and water on the top left.

[Surf on a Statue]

When you fight the Elite Four you can SURF into the first persons statue!
Stand faceing it and go under pokemon to SURF and you SURF right into it!
works on both versons.

[Cut the grass]

use cut on tall grass and it will be hacked a way .....this way if your pokemon are in really bad shape you dont have to fight anyone or pokemon

[Standing on Water] how to stand on the water: Go to Cerulean Gym. SURF on the water.

Go to Misty or the Jr. Trainer Female then, while facing them, select
SURF again to get off. However, since they're in the way, you'll stand
on the water! It also works in Pallet Town if you can get that guy in
front of Prof. Oak's Lab to stand next to the water.
