| This Fanfic was written by yours truly, Sephiroth. Enjoy! Cloud awoke from a horrible nightmare at his villa in Costa Del Sol. He tried to remember what had been so terrifiying, but all that came back to him was a hazy image of Sephiroth and something about Aeris. Aeris...Cloud had still not gotten over his grief at the death of the last remaining Ancient. of Cetra. Vivid memories came at him in a dizzying rush...His first meeting with the mysterious flower girl... Aeris asking if he was alright after he fell through the roof of her church in Sector Six...Sephiroth stabbing Aeris in the Forgotten City...Sephiroth dissolving into Lifestream after Cloud killed him... Oh, well. Cloud got up and walked into the living room, where he promptly fainted, as Aeris was sitting on the couch. "Cloud? Cloud! Wake up!" someone was saying as s/he shook him awake. Cloud opened his eyes and saw Aeris standing over him. "Gah! What's going on? Aeris!? But..." "Yes, it's me. And I have something for you." "What?" asked Cloud. Aeris fiddled with a gem on her bracelet, and Cloud had a second to wonder what she was doing before she said the last words he would ever hear. "This is for letting me die!" she spat at him, as the floor sank beneath him and took him to a place ocupied with thirteen loomong dark figures. He recognised them. They were the Knights of Round. The first lunged at him. The scream was very short. Aeris walked out of the late Cloud's house to a tall, dark man standing on the street. "How was it?" he asked. A sunbeam fell on shining silver hair. "It was...good" Aeris said to him. They started off down the street. As they walked, a ten foot long sword at the man's waist hit someone on the leg. "Hey! Watch where your'e goin'! You tryin' to start trouble?!" he yelled. "No. I think you are trying to start trouble." said Aeris' friend. The other man saw eyes that seemed to change from green to aqua to blue and back. The man had heard of only one person with eyes like that. "G-great Sephiroth!" he cried, then fell back. "Yes,"said Sephiroth "GREAT Sephiroth." He and Aeris then left the town. as they walked they laughed. Sephiroth and Aeris had revived through the power of the Holy Materia. With Aeris it had turned the water that Cloud had laid her to rest in to a gigantic Phoenix Down. For Sephiroth it had deposited his spirit into one of the Sephiroth Clones in Nibelheim. They had then met and decided to get revenge. The had killed all the members of Cloud's group and then hid in a cave near Costa Del Sol and waited for him to arrive at his house. Then they killed him. They went to the cave and started packing. Then they took it all into the restored Highwind that they had taken after killing Cid, took off through a hole in the roof, and flew to the deserted Nibelheim and went to the Shin-Ra Mansion to sleep. >END<> |
