Of love unbound
with free voice to sing,
joyfully unbridled, liberated,
borne high on undaunted wing,
doth my soul, solely resound.
Of love uninhibited
rent of fetters and chains
Unshackled, primal, in awed
fresh love unknown, unpained,
of earnest love unindebted.
Of love absolute and sure,
fearless, perilous;
nieve and untarnished, virginal
innocent, faultless;
a love which shall endure.
Of love endeared
the sort most sought and true,
fresh, new, and cleansed,
unrehearsed, gay and pure
but as certain as the turning of the year.
Of love enamoured
armored with passions might
and a child's free curiosities,
unafraid of love's soft flight
in rapturous voice enclamoured.
Of love, I sing, and simply this
Of nothing more herein to find.
No hidden coiled serpential verse
To riddle or muddle one's mind.
'Tis as simplistic as a heart unrehearsed.
Or, as love's first ardent kiss... |
