My name it's Hanis Ana Adriana and I'm 23 years old. I live in a beautiful romanian city and I work as a social-worker. My hobbies are: nature, especially mountain, lecture, etc. I like to make new friends from diffrent part of the world. *Family- I'm not married and I live with my parents and my brothers: Raul and Ioana. *Friendship- I appreciate a lot of things in friendship,like: sincerity, loyality, faithfulness,etc. Future plans As, I said I'm working as a social-worker in a big hospital,called: "Spitalul de copii din Oradea".I work here with children which are between 3 months and 2 years. How i knew this children? In 1997 i was student at Emanuel Bible Institute from Oradea, studying baptist theology and social work. I also worked as a journalist at a local newspaper. This is how i found that in my town children hospital there are about 100 abandoned children, living in horrible conditions. I couldn't beliefe what i saw them. Those images followed me for weeks and after all i decided to do something. It wasn't eassy at all as the hospital was a very close system and it was difficult to entry it. People in Romania are not aware about voluntariat concept and the hospital staff was very suspicious about my willing to help them. Also, a lot of people told me"What do you want from those children? They will never be human beings" But i never believed that and with lot of love and little money i have done a lot of things for them. After a time other nonguvernamental organizations come to help and now the situations is incomparrable better. But still there is a lot of need here of people who want to help inb this work. Before I was with them those children weretided by their bads all the day and they could not move. No one ever pick them up or played with them. For example a child at three years looked like one of one year,he could not talk, walk or even sit. I strted work there as a voluntaire and now I have a modest donations from an English group of people. They sent me a monthly donations of 250 houndred$ but it's not sufficient.From these donations we assure children a suppliment of food consisting in: fruits, vitamins, and cereals.
