This is an alphabetical list of my 17 favorite bands. This page took me literally HOURS to create, so please view the whole thing:)

The Beatles! My mom is a beatlemaniac, and I guess it rubbed off on me...these guys are legends, and modern rock as we know it was shaped by the Beatles!!!

Ah, Ben Folds Five. I saw them in concert at URI and they were awesome...hehe...bubbles.

BLUR!!!!!! The video for their new single, Coffe & TV, is one of the best short films I have ever seen.

I also so Godsmack in concert at the WBRU birthday bash, and their show rocked. My ears are still ringing.

Pre-Nimrod, Green Day was deffinately my favorite band...I'm still quite fond of them.

This is Courtney Love's band Hole, and it stands out as one of the 90's great female led bands.

Kurt Cobain, the late singer of Nirvana, undeniably the best grunge band in history.

Hehehe...Orgy...*giggle*. These guys wear more make-up than all of my friends combined, but they sure can pull it off.

Ever since "Jeremy" I have loved Pearl Jam...This pic is dedicated to Tyler and her mom:)

You gotta love Placebo!!!! I saw them at the same show as Godsmack and gosh darnit they rock! Listen to their album (specifically "pure morning")in the car to make your parents very uncomfortable.

This is the band Radiohead, who for several years have been a trend-setting revolutionary rock band. Need I say more?

I just got "Let's Go" and I'm already addicted to Rancid. Awesome punk-ska music, highly recommended.

The son of the late Beatle John Lennon, Sean Oko Lennon makes unbelievable music with vocals eerilly similar to that of his dad's...

SILVERCHAIR!!! oh my god!!! Excuse me, I just have a slight obsession with Daniel Johns. The bands good, but you have to love their videos:) I saw them about 2 months ago and was so close to him...ok that's enough.

The Squirrel Nut Zippers are the best non-rock band in my CD collection...strange, but worth it!

This is my favorite pic of the Smashing Pumpkins, and I'm deffinately a fan of the music...Adore was good but Melancholie was better.

Last but not least, They Might Be Giants. I saw their..uh.."interesting" stage performance at Luops, and I still have weird dreams about it. The best band I know of with a glokenschpeil (sp?) and an acordian, and their lyrics are AWESOME!
That's all folks, I hope you enjoyed the freak show. |
