| Here are some rumors I've discovered over time. Some are strange but true, while others are plain lies. So check up on these rumors and see what you think! MACAULAY CULKIN HAS A GIRLFRIEND??!! Yep: Her name is Rachel Miner, and she's an actress. Like Mac, she's 17. Her latest role is in the revival of the New York Play, THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK. FIONA APPLE IS A STAGE NAME??!! Yep: Well, the Apple part is. Fiona's real last name is Maggart. Her dad, Brandon used to appear on Sesame Street. CHRISTINA RICCI HAS MADE 15 FILMS??!! Yep: But it's 16 actually. Hey, she started at the age of seven! Since, THE ICE STORM, the 17-year old native New Yorker has starred in two small independent films, THE OPPOSITE OF SEX, and BUFFALO '66. She says she prefers small meaningful films to big ones. JTT'S GIRLFRIEND IS TALLER THAN HE IS??!! Yep: Thats she is. Nikki Hale stands about 3 inches taller that JTT - when she's not wearing platforms that is. A GIRL IS JOINING HANSON??!! Yep: A new sister joined the family - not the band (yet!). Zoe Genevieve Hanson was born January 14th: she's the seventh Hanson sibling. LEO AND KATE ARE GOING OUT??!! Nope: Not in real life anyway. The TITANIC stars bcame very close friends during that long shoot - but their relationship never echoed the one their characters had on screen. HANSON IS MOVING TO N.J.??!!HANSON WILL STOP TOURING??!!ZAC HAD SURGERY??!! Nope: No,No,and No. Our trio of weird,wacky Hanson rumors of the month. None are true, By the way, Hanson is staying out in Tulsa,Ok - the family isn't making a permanent move anywhere. WILD AMERICA BOMBED??!! Yep: A movie that was da bomb, did bomb. Showbiz is a tough biz, and in the heat of competition-think. MEN IN BLACK, HERCULES, and THE LOST WORLD. WILD AMERICA kinda got lost in the shufflr. However, there's new life in video, and you can bet JTT, and Devon's flick will rules the shelves. KIRK,BROTHERLY LOVE,AND 90210 ARE CANCELED??!! Kinda:Yes,Yes,and No. 90210 lives on,while the others are gone. You should know : Matt lawerence has a movie coming out called THE HAIRY BIRD, with Kirsten Dunst and Gaby Hoffmann, and catch him this season on BOY MEETS WORLD as Shawn's half-brother Jack. TAYLOR HANSON'S FIRST NAME IS JORDAN??!! Yep:It is. Isaac's is Clarke, and Zac's is - Zac! SPICE GIRLS LIP SING ALL THEIR SONGS??!! Nope: Not true. What they want, what they really, really want-is for you to know that's not true. The girls totally sing. dance-and have starred in their own film-SPICE WORLD, where they totally act. The one thing they don't do is write their own songs. BRAD RENFRO HAS A BEARD??!! Kinda: A scratchy little goatee sometimes. Brad, who just turned 16, likes to change his looks every once in a while. TAY HANSON DOESN'T LIKE TO SMILE??!! Nope: As if! The only thing Tay doesn't like is being photographed looking too "bubble-gummy" and "gooey". So he might come across slightly serious in pix, but if you met him in real life-he lights up the night with his high-beam smile. LEO DICAPRIO SMOKES??!! Yep: Occasionally. But he's been trying to quit. MELISSA JOAN HART IS DATING ANDREW KEEGAN??!! Nope: Uh-uh. The star of SABRINA,THE TEENAGE WITCH has been steady dating James Fields for like, ever. DEAN CAIN IS ENGAGED??!! Yep: Super True! The lucky lady is 21 year old country cutie Mindy McCready, famous for her CD,TEN THOUSAND ANGELS. Dean asked, and Mindy said " yes" back in September of last year. Though no wedding was scheduled then, this year they will probably marry. Who introduced them? Dean's mom! ZAC SINGS LEAD ON "MAN FROM MILWAUKEE"??!! Nope: That would be Taylor. Zac thought the song up, but all three collaborated on the writing, and Taylor took lead vocals. Zac's got lead on "Lucy". TAYLOR HAS A 16 YEAR OLD GIRLFRIEND??!! Nope: Not so. No one in Hanson has had time to have a relationship with any girl-the boys have been all over the world in the last year. They spent the last fall in Europe recording album number two, their Christmas album. SCOTT WOLF AND NEVE CAMPBELL WERE ONCE AN ITEM??!! Nope: In a former life maybe, but not in this one. When they first met, Neve was engaged-since then she got married and was subsequently divorced, but Scott was never in the romantic pic. He was going out with PO5 star, Paula DeVicq, but thats's over too. HANSON WROTE THE SONG "YEARBOOK" ABOUT A FRIEND OF THEIRS WHO DIED??!! Nope: We'll let Taylor handle this one. "A lot of times in a yearbook there's a space for a photo but there is none. It just says " photo unavailable" because someone didn't get their picture in. The song was just built on that." JEWEL USED TO MILK COWS??!! Yep: MMMoooooo! And that was only one of the odd jobs super singer, Jewel, toiled at before PIECES OF YOU, put her on the top of the charts. She also dug ditches, waitresses, did clerical work and " bucked hay bales." BRENDAN FRASER GOT MARRIED??!! Nope: Not yet! The star of GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE, however did get engaged last fall to his longtime girlfriend, Afton Smith. No wedding date has been set. WINONA RYDER'S DATING STEPHAN JENKINS OF THIRD EYE BLIND??!! Nope: Not even. Althought the talented actress has been a "serial rock star dater", she's gone out with singers of Soul Asylum, Lemonheads, and Jamiroquoi, apparently the rumor about her dating Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins is untrue. LEANN RIMES' PARENTS ARE DIVORCING??!! Yep: Sad but true! LeAnn's mom and dad will continue to co-manage her career though. LeAnn loves them both. PRINCE WILLIAM LOVES THE SPICE GIRLS??!! Yep: And so does Prince Harry. Like,who doesn't? Harry, however, actually got to meet them on a vacation once, while William couldn't make it. LARISA OLEYNIK'S QUITTING ALEX MACK??!! Nope: Not Even! Larisa Oleynik, the 17-yr-old star of THE SECRET WORLD OF ALEX MACK is doing it all: being a normal high school girl who's thinking about the prom and college, and being an actress. " I go to regular school and that is very important to me," she says. "I'm more excited about being in my school's video yearbook than I am about being on TV." ZAC HANSON HAS A GIRLFRIEND??!! Nope:Not that he wouldn't like one- but no. Along with his brothers, Zac's way too busy with school, music, and traveling to have time for a girlfriend-besides he just turned 12, so to his mom-he's kinda young. TAYLOR'S LOSING HIS VOICE??!! Nope: Not now he's not! Naturally, Taylor's voice is changing, but he's just getting stronger than ever as a singer-listen to Isaac's voice and you'll get an idea of what Taylor will probably sound like soon. JTT WILL STAR IN THE LION KING MUSICAL??!! Nope: Hakuna No-tata. Although there will be a lavish stage version of THE LION KING, to premiere on New York's broadway stage in November of last year,JTT will not be part of the production. Simba will be played by newcomer Jason Raize. SABRINA'S CAT SALEM IS ELECTRONIC??!! Nope: Scratch that! Salem is totally real-five times over, in facr! A quintet of talented felines is used in the Salem role, one for his active scenes, another for his close ups, yet another for when he needs to be affectionate. Two backup cats fill in when the others are feelin finicky! All however, are card-carrying members of the Animal Actors Society, or AAS. BACKSTREET BOY BRIAN LITTRELL HAS A WIFE??!! Nope: Only in his dreams! The hit-making cutie is quite single, as are all the BSB's. They've been too busy burning up the charts all over the world to find time to settle down. One day, maybe it could be you! JTT AND COURTNEY PELDON ARE AN ITEM??!! Nope: Keep repeating this-it's only a Tv show! On HOME IMPROVEMENT, their characters are certainly girlfriend and boyfriend, but that relationship doesn't extend into real life. JTT does have a girlfriend,however she's not an actress. OASIS BROKE UP??!! Nope: Not yet that is! The battlin' Gallagher brothers-Noel and Liam-and their hit-making brand new album. BE HERE ran last spring and is still in stores now- it features eleven electic new Oasis tracks. A SECOND GO ROUND FOR "SECOND NOAH"??!! Nope: Sorry! Though fans of the fine family show were heartened when it came back in re-runs last spring, there are no plans to film new episodes ever again. It's over,face it. THERE'S A FREE WILLY 3??!! Yep: Totally! The third go round of the whale of a tale hit the water last year. Where ave you been? nd yes, Jason James Richter, older and to some,cuter, is back. But Willy's fully animatronic.
