| This site is pretty much about the book my friends and I have written...The 8th Wonder of the World. Back in 1999, our English teacher, Ms Crook informed us that we were were going to write a book that was to be published...and...quite naturally...we were really excited! Ms Crook told us that it would be hard work...but that the end result would be very pleasing!! We got to work...thinking of ideas for the book (characters, storyline, marketing, publicity and so on). When we had character profiles written out and the main storyline thought up we started working on the chapters...the hard part. We each had a chapter to write and...after we had written our own...we looked at someone else's and made changes to their one. We did this several times until there was a continuous style of writing flowing through the story!! Next came the illustrations and then the marketing and financial side of things...very professional!! All of our illustrations were drawn by us (one or two each)...and I think they are very good!! We had to decide on the price of the book and some of us contacted newspapers for publicity!! So...it was all very hard work...but when we saw our first book...PURE GOLD...
