Shelties are such wonderful animals no matter if they are top winning conformation champions, high scoring obedience dogs, hard working herders, fast moving agility movers or loving couch potatos. They do it all to please us & all that they ask of us is a tummy rub & kind words. We have been so blessed the past 41 years to have loved, raised & been owned by these wonderful little creatures who are so very special.
Dot Kennedy of Four Seasons passed away on June 23, 2005. She was home briefly before her last hospitalization and I believe she wrote the above paragraph at that time. Most of the dogs have been placed in companion homes. Dot left me three of her males which reside at Annessa's Shetland Sheepdogs. I also have three of her older girls living with me that are looking for that "special" home.
