Finishing Touches

On Earth

“I have to do this!” said Paragus said to himself, for the hundredth time. He was arguing with himself whether he should do X10 or X20 gravity. He finally made up his mind, setting the gravity at X20, and bracing himself. The force of the sudden gravity caused the ground to rush up and meet him. Paragus had other ideas and he out his hand under him just before he smashed his face on the floor.
“Yes! I can do this!” he started doing push-ups right away.
[ 4 hours later ]
“Ka…me…ha…me…ha!” screamed Paragus, launching yet another Kamehameha. He was now standing up straight, and was able to move very quickly.
“Wow! That blast was the biggest I have ever done. If I keep improving this much, I will have no problem with Vegeta!”
Little did he know, Vegeta was doing some training of his own… (Old, I know)

On Namek

“Hey, Vegeta, you are going to learn Regeneration too?” asked Piccolo. “That’s great, we can train together!”
“Yeah, real great…” muttered Vegeta, not equally excited. But then an idea came to him. “Well actually, I am supposed to be training Raditz right now. Maybe I will catch up with you later, ok?” he said, thinking quickly.
“Oh. Ok, sure.” said Piccolo, seeming a bit down. “Bye then!”
Vegeta took of toward where Raditz had already begun training. “Maybe Nail will teach him how to act a bit more like me…”

Elsewhere, on Namek

“Hello? Mr. Guru? Are you around? Eh?” called Gohan, landing on Guru’s doorstep. He was eager to have his power unlocked, and wanted it done quickly. The great battle was only days away, after all.
“Come in, my son.” came a voice from inside the house. Gohan walked into the house, and stood before the Namekian leader.
“Can you please unlock my hidden power? I would be very grateful!” asked Gohan in the sweetest little kid voice his evil heart could muster. Guru nodded and put his hands to the Sayiyan’s forehead. Then his eyes widened in horror.
“I will not! I sense a great evil in you, young warrior. I refuse to help you!” exclaimed Guru. Gohan shook his head. When he looked back up his eyes were ablaze.
“You will do what I tell you, old man, or you will die!” Gohan growled in a bone chilling voice. “Understand?” Guru started to shake his head but thought better of it.
“What the hell? You’re not my problem! Let Gogeta and Earth’s Special Forces deal with you!” he said in a resigned voice, reaching forward and unlocking Gohan’s hidden talent. Gohan tipped his hat and started to raise his hand to annihilate Guru. What use was the wretched Namekian to him now? But then he lowered his hand and walked out of the house, realizing Guru may be needed by his comrades.

On Planet Vegeta

“Ah, so my Prince has added another Saiyan to his elite fighting force? I assure you that you will be quite happy with the destruction and pain you will cause” greeted Bardock. An evil grin spread across Brolly’s face.
“That’s good, but can we get started with my training? I want to master Final Flash as soon as possible, ok?” said Brolly, ending the small talk.
“Ok, ok. It has just gotten kind of lonely around here ever since Vegeta and his crew left.” Sighed Bardock. “The only people to talk to are the Saibamen, and they aren’t too bright!”
“Like I said before, can we get started now?” growled Brolly, losing his patience.
“Fine fine…” muttered the Saiyan master. “But will you talk with me later?”
Bardock’s great roar could be heard throughout the galaxy…

On Kame’s lookout, on Earth

Goku and Future Trunks were flying up to Kame’s lookout, almost desperately. They both wanted to learn the new attack they had all heard so much about. The Final Kamehameha. Not to mention they wanted to meet Gogeta, the most powerful fighter in the Universe. They finally reached the top, and found Kame and Gogeta waiting for them.
“Err…um… what’s up guys?” Goku questioned, smooth as glass. The pair had always thought that they were strong, very strong. How insignificant they felt next to the mighty Gogeta. Trunks thought it were as if Gogeta could send them right back to the Next Dimension with a gesture of his hand.
“No time to waste,” replied Kame. “You must begin your training with Master Gogeta at once!”
“But why?” asked Goku. “This guy could wipe out all of those Saiyan Eliet’s with one hand, and crush Gohan’s Elite Saiyans with his other!”
“FOOL!” screamed Gogeta. “Vegeta is nearly as strong as I! And the circumstances under which I came to this time prevent me from increasing my strength at all. And all the while we stand here and chat, Gohan and Vegeta become stronger and stronger! We will need every good soul on this planet to stop the evil beings that approach!” That shut Goku up pretty quick. The three Saiyans began their all-important training in silence.

At Kame House

“Ahh! Am I having some kind of hallucination? How did you get so small, Goku?” exclaimed Master Roshi.
Chibi Goku just stared at him. “I don’t know what you are talking about old man, I just want to learn Super Kamehameha!”
“What is this world coming to? Aliens and time machines…” Roshi said walking into his house, Goku following. “That’s it! You came from the past in a time machine to help us like that Gogeta fellow, didn’t you!?!?

Then Chibi Goku fell on this back for some unknown reason, like they always do in anime shows. Now just imagine the outside of Kame House. Yeah, that’s it. Now imagine a big bead of sweat on the house. Heh heh. Gotta’ love Japanese animation…
