Since being an AOL member I've learned many different secrets or pretty cool stuff u can do. I will have new ones all the time so come back often to check. If you have any more please let me know so i can add to my page.

To Read A Link

If you have 4.0 all you have to do is place your mouse over the link. For 3.0 users highlight the link press Ctrl+C then Ctrl+N then Ctrl+V. Double click on the blue letters and it will tell you the URL.

Roll the Dice

When you are in a chat room and you roll the dice, the Online host will say (Your Screen Name) rolled 2 6-sided dice: 3 5. You can use this to play games in chat rooms with other members. To roll the dice you type in this //roll-diceX-sidesY. You can change the number of sides and dice by exchanging X and Y with a number.

Weird Chat Stuff

In a chat room to make the Online host say "Unknown = Q command" type in =Q in a chat room and press enter. Also u can make the Online host say "Unknown =//" type in // and press enter.

Adding More Catagories to Your Profile

First go to edit your own profile. Press Ctrl+Backspace to make the square and paste this before anything that you want to put on your next line of the text in your profile. Your profile nows has an extra catagory!

Strike Through

This is to make words you type in an im or chat room strike through. Type <. Then s. then > then any thing you wanna write.

Type a blank line in a chat room

All you have to do is press the space bar a couple times and then press Alt+0160 and then enter.

Did I type that?

This trick may seem difficult but it's a peice of cake once you get it down. In this trick you can type something and what you type will be on the other persons screen name when you send it. First highlight the name and the colon. Then right click and go to copy click on it then hit enter 14 times. Then right click again and click paste. The name will appear. Then go to color and change it to black and take off the bold. Good luck.
