  Episode 5: Let's Play with Culumon! The reason why Lee kept on refusing evolution was that it made him drive Terriermon to evolve. In the past, that had damged Terriermon. Terriermon was cornered to a strong attack from Gorillamon; with evolution prohibited. However, the card slash (by Lee) turn things around. Terriermon was eventually able to defeat Gorillamon with a Tiny Twister and a couple of Bunny Blasts. Takato had learned something important..two friends (Lee and Terriermon) can get over a crisis not by evolution but by teamwork as a Tamer. Recently at Takato's school, something appeared and caused mischief in the schoolyard. Not only among the teachers, but also among the students has the rumor been flying about the unidentified prankster. One morning, the schoolyard was discovered terribly scribbled by lines. The mischief that was caused was like the day when Gillmon caused trouble by eating the school bread. Only at night did the little Culumon appear. During the day, Culumon always watched the kids playing and waited for his partner. Culumon wanted to play with the kids, and he sometimes imagined himself playing soccer. The next Sunday, when Takato went to school with Guilmon because it was his turn to do the bunny habitat, they accidentally discovered the criminal- Culumon! After a talk with Culumon, Takato learned that Culumon didn't have a human partner so he decided to find a Tamer for Culumon and called for Lee to help out. The two thought of possibilities for Kurumon's partner, but Takato realized none were perfect. Hiroki might be too hard on Culumon, Juri would freak, and Shiuchon, Lee's little sister, would play dress-up. Suddenly, the mysterious Digital Field fog appeared again! Guilmon and Kurumon, who were playing in the schoolyard, realized a Digimon was within the fog! The realized Digimon was Vilemon, a really ugly-looking Digimon with wings. Vilemon was mad and it attacked the two! Takato and Lee ran onto the scene, and Takato used Card Slash but he wasn't good at it. Then Ruki and Renamon appeared! Ruki used the Alias Card to change Renamon's body to fight Vilemon and she won. Takato thought Ruki's way to win was wrong, but Ruki disagreed. The next day, the schoolyard showed the remains of the last day's fight- totally demolished and scribbled with lines. A new rumor started in the school that it was the result of the little prankster.
