Questions and Answers (e-mail me your questions, and I'll post an answer.)
1. Q: How many cards can you have in a hand? A: As many as you want. 2. Q: Is it a good
deal if I trade Blastoise (mine) for Poliwrath and six water energy? A: Sure. 3.
Can you use as many trainers as you want in a turn?A: Yes. 4. Q: In attacks that use "times"
can it ever do zero? Like, for instance, dragonair's slam, if I get tails twice, does it do 30
damage or 0? A: It does 0 damage. ZERO heads "times" 30 damage is ZERO :-(

How to tell if your card is fake:
#1 - If it's a holo, and it just looks REAL weird, then it's probably fake.
#2 - Do the light test. Take a card you know is good and hold it right up to the light.
You should not be able to see through it at all. Then take the card in question. If you
can see through it, like it's a little transparent, then you have yourself a fake
#3 - Check for graininess. The text on fakes are often pretty grainy. If you look
closely, you can see the dots. If you can, then once again, you have a fake.
Promo Cards:
#1 - "Ivy" Pikachu.
This card was the first Promo Card to be obtained through the Pokemon League
#2 - Electabuzz
#3 - Mewtwo
#4 - Pikachu
#5 - Dragonite
These cards could be obtained by purchasing a movie ticket to "Pokemon:The First
Movie" and came sealed so you did not know what you were getting. Alternately, they
were available with a qualifying purchase at all Warner Bros. Stores for a while.
#6 - Arcanine
This was actually the thrid Promo Card to be released through the league, despite
being numerically 2nd. Rumors say that #6 was not going to originally be Arcanine,
but rather a Mewtwo. Seemingly due to some complications at WotC, this never came
to pass, and probably is the reason that card #6 was released after both cards #7 and
#8.
#7 - Jigglypuff
This is one of the harder Promos to obtain. It was available only though a mail-in
certificate when you purchased the Pokemon Movie Soundtrack. Seemingly having
more orders than the Clearing House could fulfill, some people received alternatives
in the mail rather than the Jigglypuff, making this one of the more sough-after
promos.
#8 - Mew
Identical to it's Japanese Fossil twin, this Mew was the 2nd Promo released in the
League.
#9 - Holographic Mew
Functionally identical to the non-Holo Mew, it was the 4th Promo Card released in
the League - just harder to obtain.
#10 - Meowth
This card could be obtained by buying the Pokemon TCG Game Boy Game.
#11 - Unknown at this Time.
#12 - Mewtwo
The April 2000 issue of Nintendo Power offered this Mewtwo to it's subscribers. Not
easily obtained due to it's limited release.
#13 - Venusaur
The Official Strategy Guide from Nintendo for the Game Boy TCG Game held this
card inside it.
#14 - Mewtwo
Completely identical to Movie Promo #3, but with alternate art. This card could be
obtained by purchasing Pokemon:The First Movie on Video.
#15 - Cool Porygon
Probably the most expensive Promo just due to how it had to be obtained. This card
could only be obtained by purchasing the N64 Pokemon Stadium bundle pack.
