Now that you've gotten 8 badges, it's time to enter the Elite Four. Surf east of New Bark Town to get to Tohjo Falls. Tohjo Falls is easy to get through.
Surf on to Route 28. There will be trainers here. You'll eventually get to Victory Road. Victory Road is a lot easier to get through, compared to Red/Blue. Your rival will battle you as you try to exit. When you win, he'll stalk away. Now enter the Indigo Plateau!!!
Your first opponent is Will. He uses Ice & Psychic type Pokemon. His lineup is Xatu, Jynx, Exeggutor, Slowbro, and Xatu. A thunder Pokemonwill knock out Will's Pokemon. Use a fire type on Exeggutor.
Next up is Koga of Fuschia Gym. He seems to be promoted to the Elite Four. He still uses Poison/Grass Pokemon. His lineup is Ariados, Venomoth, Forretress, Muk, Crobat. Use a fire type.
Bruno seems to be the oldest Elite Four member. His Fighting/Rock Pokemon are Hitmontop, Onix, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Machamp. Use a pshchic type.
Karen uses a variety of Pokemon, usually Dark. Her lineup is Umbreon, Vileplume, Murkrow, Gengar, and Houndoom. Use a combo of fire, psychic, thunder, and water Pokemon.
The League Master is Lance! His lineup is Gyardos, Dragonite, Dragonite, Aerodcatyl, Charizard, Dragonite. Use a combo of thunder, water, and ice Pokemon.
Once you've defeated the Elite Four, Oak and an interviewer named Mary will ask you questions. Lance will then bring you back into a room where he'll register your ID. The credits will scroll down and it's THE END. But it is not the end yet, you could revisit to Kanto World!!!
You'll start back at New Bark Town. Talk to Elm and he'll give you the S.S. Ticket. Now go to Olivine City. Go south and go into the harbor.
Now you could ride the S.S. Aqua! This time, the ship moves, unlike Red/Blue. You could battle the trainers here. You could heal your Pokemon at your ship room. To get off the ship you have to talk to this guy that is saying his granddaughter is missing. She is in the Captain's room. There is a sailor that is fooling around and is blocking the way to the captain's room. To get to her, you'll have to battle this sailor which is off duty. Once you've defeated him, he'll go back to the place where a sailor once blocked. Now you could go through and go to the captain. The girl will be next to him. Talk to her and you'll be back at the guy's room. He'll thank you for getting his daughter back and give you a METAL COAT. Then the PA system and say that the ship has docked.
Exit and you'll be at Vermillion City!!! Now go into the Vermillion Gym. Lt. Surge doesn't have his stupid trash switches on now. You should just go and battle him. If you beat him, he'll give you the THUNDERBADGE! Now head north to Saffron City. Notice the UNDERGROUND TUNNEL is blocked.
Anyways, if you go into the Silph Co. a guy will give you a UP_GRADE. to programs in KANTO. The FIGHTING DOJO is still training in MT. MORTAR. There is nothing to do in his gym. Go to Sabrina's gym and fight her. Once victorious, she'll give you the MARSHBADGE.
Head west and go into Lavender Town. The Radio Tower is now a well protective place after what happened to the Radio Tower in Goldenrod. Once you're done poking around, go back to Saffron. Now head east to Celedon City. There will be a dude in the POKEMON MANSION who will give you a TM if you listen to his story... Also, there is a GAME CORNER and a DEPARTMENT STORE. Anyways, what's important is the badge. Go into Leader Ericka's gym. Defeat her and receive the RAINBOWBADGE!!!
Now use your bike for CYCLING ROAD. CYCLING ROAD slopes downhill so you'll have a hard time goin' up! After you get down, head west.
Before you know it, you'll be in Fuchisia City! The SAFARI ZONE is closed because the WARDEN is on vacation. There isn't really much to do here....... Go into the gym, there are still invisible walls, like the previous games. Since Koga is in the ELITE FOUR, his sister, Janine took his place has leader. This time, all the trainers in the gym mimiced themselves into Janine. Once you beat her, she'll award you the SOULBADGE!!!
Now head back to Saffron City. Head north to Cerulean City. You won't be able to fight the gym yet.... The power of the POWER PLANT is not running at the time. Go to the POWER PLANT and the boss will tell you that a ROCKET stole a piece of the GENERATOR that is needed to run power. He'll tell you to find it for him.
Go back you Cerulean City. Go into the Cerulean Gym. This time, a ROCKET will be in a rucsh and bumps into you. He'll say sorry and rushes away. Inside the gym, there will be the MISSING PART for the GENERATOR. Pick it up and give it to the boss in the POWER PLANT. He'll give you a TM, ZAP CANNON in return.
You still coudn't fight Leader Misty yet........ Go north to the NUGGET BRIDGE. The trainers will promise a you a NUGGET if you defeat all six trainers. Well, guess what..... There is really 7 trainers! Once you get to Bill's Cottage, there will be Misty making love with someone!!! Once she sees you, she'll be angry that you disturbed them and race back to her gym. Go back to the gym and battle her. You'll be rewarded the CASCADEBADGE if you beat her!!!
You wonder how to go to Pewter City... Go back to Vermillion. Go to where SNORLAX is. Turn the Radio Upgrade to channel POKEFLUTE. Place the radio near SNORLAX and it'll attack in an angry rage!!! Either catch or kill it because its at lv 50!!! Now the path to DIGLETT's CAVE is open. Get through the cave and you'll arrive at Pewter City. Everything is still the same here. I suggest you head into the gym... Brock is really tough. If you defeat him, he'll give you a BOULDERBADGE!!!
Head west to MT. MOON. There will be a lot of trainers on your way to MT. MOON. Once you're in MT. MOON, your rival will fight you, beat him and exit. Now fly back to Pewter. Head south to VIRIDIAN FOREST.
Go through to VIRIDIAN CITY. Here, there is a POKEMON HOUSE where you could battle trainers once a day. There is also a gym that is currently blocked off. Head down to Pallet Town.
Go more south into the water. Head down to Cinnibar Island. There is nothing here excpt a POKEMON CENTER. The volcano here went off and destroyed most buildings including the gym!!! There is a guy here called Gary that will talk to you to a long while and fly away. Head west to Seafoam Islands. Go into the only cave there. You'll meet an old man, Blaine. He appears to be the Cinnibar Gym Leader. Since his gym is destroyed, he used this cave as his gym for now! Once you beat him, he'll give you a VOLCANOBADGE!!!
Go back to Viridian City. The gym is now open. Gary is the new leader of this gym. Beat him and recieve his EARTHBADGE!!! Now head down to Pallet. Talk to Pro Oak. He give you an unusual gift. The gift is that he'll open up the way to SILVER CAVE. You could get there by the way to the Indigo Plateau. You'll have to pass through Route 28 first. Inside has very strong POKEMON. There are 2 very important trainers here.
One of them is your rival. This is your final battle with him. He is a good way to boost up your POKEMON's levels to get ready for the last battle!!!
Your last battle is with Ash Ketchum!!! He is the Elite Four Champion!!! He'll greet you silently and battle. His stronges POKEMON is PIKACHU!!! His line-up is PIKACHU, ESPEON, SNORLAX, VENUSAUR, BLASTOISE, and CHARIZARD!!! If you beat him, he'll do a silent good bye................. The credits will scroll down and its finally....................
