| Pokemon Crystal Version Pokemon Crystal Version is the newest Pokemon Game to Gameboy Color. It has better graphics than any of the Pokemon games. It is the special edition game to Gold/Silver versions. Like Red/Blue versions, Yellow is the special edition game for it. Crystal is only compatible to Gameboy Color Pokemon Crystal was already released in Japan. Over a million copies have been sold. Do you think it will come out in USA? This section will tell you all about Pokemon Crystal. Crystal is the same as Pokemon Gold/Silver. The Pokemon are the same except you could catch more Pokemon. Also, when you enter a route or city the bottom of the screen will tell you the name of this place. There wouldn't be any new Pokemon. Bummer!!! There are many new features in Pokemon Crystal. One of them is that you'll be able to play as a boy or girl. Cool, isn't it? This is a big improvement to girl players. Your backpack and map card will be different depending on what sex you are. There is also a way where you could trade Pokemon through your cell phone!!! I'm not sure it works though............... Suicune seems to be the star of the game. After you've found the Legendary Beasts in the Burned Tower and they fled away, you could see Suicune in the wild. Suicune will take up 4 spaces!!! Just like Snorlax What really amazed me was that you could catch Pokemon # 251 Celebi!!! You couldn't do that in Gold/Silver. After you've gotten the GS Ball from Pro. Oak, you could fight Celebi in the Ilex Forest. It is in the shrine. Sweet............. Here is the timline of for POKEMON Crystal- 12-16-2000: Pokemon Crystal is released in Japan. Breaks out in a thousands of sales 1-11-2001: Will not release Crystal in USA..... Over a million copies of Crystal have been sold in Japan 1-26-2001: Possible release of Crystal in USA.......... Nintendo officials say it should 2-10-2001: I downloaded my own Japanese version of Pokemon Crystal!!!!! 2-21-2001: Nintendo officials confirmed that it will be released in USA. Unsure of the release date 3-15-2001: I am now looking for a Pokemon Crystal ROM to up on my site... 4-10-2001: Pokemon Crystal is coming out in July 2001!!!
